Every instrument is hand crafted and made to order.
The Model One, Hagen Guitar Co.'s signature model, takes inspiration from the golden age of pre-war guitars. Its small body is light weight and carries the voice of a much larger instrument. This guitar has an articulate high end while maintaining a full bass response. The neck is hand carved to a C-shape profile, and given a soft oil finish for comfort and playability. The soundboard features a unique hand-rubbed burst with the same open-grain oil finish found on the back and sides.
A variery of customizable options are available on the Model One.
The Model Two is a nylon string hybrid, perfect for jazz and folk players looking for the warm and mellow tone of a classical guitar but with the familiar feel of a steel string. The fan-braced cedar top delivers the unique tone of a traditional classical instrument. But the 1 11/16" nut width, radiused fingerboard, and hand-carved C-shape neck profile make your hands feel right at home.
A variery of customizable options are available on the Model Two.
Workhorse guitars. Made by hand.
Your Hagen Guitar wasn't built just to hang on a wall. It wasn't hand crafted just to be delicately strummed on special occasions. It was built to be played every single day—to be taken on the road, and to bear all the scars of a well-loved instrument.
Your Hagen Guitar is a workhorse, so play it like one.
